Avantgarde recognised as a Microsoft “Gold competency partner”

To increase transparency for customers and partners, Microsoft re-aligned its partner network globally at the middle of last year.

With four partner levels and a total of 29 competencies, the new model is more clearly oriented to the typical solution scenarios required on the market.

Partners at the two highest levels are the so-called silver and gold competency partners. They have to prove their expertise in one or several of the defined competency fields. In addition to comprehensive certifications for products and methodologies, this also includes relevant customer references.

After many years as a gold partner, Avantgarde has now also been awarded the highest certification level according to the new partner model. As a gold enterprise resource planning partner, Avantgarde proved its specialist competency, technological know-how and fully developed project methodology in the realisation of Dynamics AX projects.

“Due to continuous further education and training we were able to successfully pass certification as a gold competency partner in a short period of time, despite the far greater requirements posed”, sums up Thomas Müller, managing director of Avantgarde. “We secure our consulting and developer trainees by keeping in close contact with the colleges of the region. The qualification measures thus naturally also include training sessions and certifications of our manufacturers.”
