e-ControlNet secures communication with end devices from various manufacturers by means of the freely definable converter interfaces. Due to the open interface concept, numerous communication infrastructures (GSM, ISDN, analogue) and protocols (ftp, http(s)) are usable.

Notification and escalation

Notification and escalation

With the occurrence of defined conditions, users will be notified by mobile, SMS, e-mail or other communication channels. Escalation management enables the acknowledgement-dependent, multi-level notification of further users or user groups.

• Administration/creation of notifications with free message text with placeholders (e.g. message text, time) and instructions for action
• Definition of time criteria for notifications (e.g. Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
• Free allocation of devices/plants to notifications
• Grouping of users into notification groups.
  Each user can set his media information (e.g. phone number) himself and quickly update it.
• Management of escalation flows for notifications with freely selectable time intervals per escalation step
• Acknowledgement of notifications via the media of Web, Voice (confirmation upon acceptance by DTMF), SMS and e-mail
• History for notifications and acknowledgement (complete logging of all notifications)
• Overview for all open ongoing notification procedures

Analysis and reporting

Analysis

Data assessment and filtering according to prescribed rules, for example by period of time, critical value, data type or plant. Presentation as history, historical graph or in customer-specific visualisation.

• Free choice of time period for the data to be presented (in so far the data is present for the selected time period)
• Selection of the diagram type (lines, points, bars)
• Storing of user-defined evaluations (templates)
• Predefined accumulated presentations (e.g. number of an event per time period)
• Export of selected data (CSV or XML)
• Export of generated assessments (as a chart or CSV)

Reporting

The integrated report generator automatically generates reports to specification and sends them by e-mail, SMS or via other channels to users and user groups.

Extended authentication

For especially high requirements, access to e-ControlNet can be controlled with additional authentication systems such as token-based procedures.
